From the stature of the parents it is not possible to predict exactly the stature of the children because heredity is multifactorial. However, it is possible to identify an area within which the stature of the children will presumably fall through this formula: father height + mother height (+ 13 cm if male, - 13 if female) /2 = target height (+/-5)
